About Amandeep Singh

I am a final-year PhD student specialising in modelling the blood-brain barrier using advanced microfluidic techniques. Currently, I work with the Aquaporin team under the guidance of Professor Roslyn Bill and Dr. Phillip Kitchen, focusing on the intricacies of cell behaviour in brain health.

Core Skills & Expertise

Cell Culture: Proficient in maintaining and manipulating various cell lines for experimental studies.

Immunocytochemistry: Skilled in visualising and analysing protein expression within cells.

RNA-seq Analysis: Experienced in the analysis of gene expression data to uncover molecular insights.

Research & Career Aspirations

I am driven by curiosity for uncovering the small details in science that can have far-reaching impacts. My passion lies in brain and gut health, with a particular focus on how molecular and cellular processes contribute to overall well-being. My goal is to pursue a career where I can continue exploring these areas, contributing to research that bridges fundamental science and real-world applications.

Let’s Connect

I am eager to connect with professionals and researchers who share my interests in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and neurobiology. Whether you're interested in collaboration, discussion, or networking, feel free to reach out—I’m always open to new opportunities to learn and grow.
