My work sits at the intersection of chemical engineering, global health, and diagnostics. I develop smartphone-based sensors and microfluidic platforms to detect hormones, vitamins, and infectious diseases. I’m particularly interested in how organ-on-a-chip models can reduce animal testing and improve drug screening for diseases prevalent in low-resource settings. On WORC, I’m eager to share open-source microfluidic designs, discuss quantification methods, and find collaborators working on NAMs for inflammation or metabolic disorders.
