About Yuntao Wang

I began my stem cell research journey in 2023 as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge. My work focuses on using embryonic stem cell-derived embryo-like organoid models to explore how nutrient and stress-sensing pathways (such as mTORC1/2) regulate developmental processes and lineage specification in mammalian post-implantation embryos.

Trained as a molecular and cell biologist, I appreciate the sophistication of these advanced mammalian developmental models and the unique window they provide into the beauty and therapeutic potential of organoid systems. I look forward to learning from and connecting with others in the community who share a passion for advancing organoid technology toward real-world biomedical applications.
